A global insurance company are currently recruiting for an AML Compliance Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence the successful person will be responsible for conducting a systematic process of a high-volume AML reviews for specific trigger events.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting AML / CFT (Combatting the Financing of Terrorism) due diligence reviews and validation on specified AML / CFT trigger events.
  • Provision of management information identifying any trends or weaknesses in the AML / CFT processes. 
  • Provision of ad-hoc training/guidance to Operations’ staff in relation to any trends or training needs identified regarding the AML processes.
  • Carry out all other ad-hoc tasks as may be necessary or relevant to assist the Manager, Control, in promoting and embedding robust controls within the business.

The successful candidate will have a third level business or legal qualification with 3+ years’ experience within the financial services, preferably in the insurance sector. Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland qualification desired. Excellent teamwork, strong research and analytical skills with an organised, pragmatic and balanced view whilst being able to plan and deliver to deadlines.
