The Company:

Our client is a leading Global Financial Services organisation utilising cutting edge technology to offer a superior service to their clients.  The company is undergoing a period of rapid expansion with their state-of-the-art Dublin City Office central to driving The Company’s strategic growth plan.

The Job:

Working as part of, and supported by, an elite team of developers across a variety of technologies and languages; you will have the opportunity to develop proprietary software for The Company’s market leading trading and operations team. This is a fast-moving environment where ability is lauded above all other attributes. 

The Company does not care what your background is or who you know, as long as you can write effective code to deliver speed and accuracy you will be recognised.  You will be working on business-critical code from the first day with the immediate ability to make difference.

The Person:

The Company have built themselves around their people by ensuring they hire the best available in all areas of the business.  To fit in with the team you need to be smart, with a good degree from a good College/University (Computer Science or other STEM subject). 

You will need to have at least 4 years’ Java coding experience as a minimum requirement.  Exposure to Python is a plus and though no financial services experience is required, an understanding of financial markets would be good to have.

The Offer:

To hire the best The Company understand they need to offer the best, the salary available will be entirely dependent on the relevant experience you have, but as a guide they expect to pay circa €80,000 - €120,000 base salary plus significant bonus (+50%) and a benefits package to rival the best available in the world.
