Valuations Surveyor

My client, a leading property advisor with offices nationwide, are currently recruiting for a Valuations Surveyor to be based in Wexford. The successful candidate will work between Gorey and Enniscorthy. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• To maintain and develop expertise in the Valuation and Professional Services Sector.
• Liaise with senior management on growth and development of the valuations business.
• Undertake developmental activities to broaden experience and knowledge, including CPD.
• Responsibility for management and co-ordination of assigned projects under supervision.
• Maintain client relationships and act as liaison with client on specific projects.
• Consult internally and externally to help identify optimum solutions for clients.
• Carry out appraisals and research to provide information relevant to client property solutions.
• Fully research, prepare and complete commercial and residential valuation reports.
• Assist in research and market intelligence activities.
• Ensure speed and accuracy of information provided to line manager/clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant degree.
• Chartered member of the SCSI/RICS or Member of IPAV with REV qualification and ideally 2-3 years’ experience PQE.
• Sound understanding of property economics and property related legislation.
• Knowledge of the property market.
• Sound numerical reasoning ability.
• Client relationship management.
• Negotiating skills.
• Report writing including portfolio valuations.
