A global Financial Services firm who provide cutting edge technology to global markets are recruiting for a Compliance Officer for their Dublin office. The Compliance Officer will work as part of a dedicated Compliance team, based in Dublin and London, which has responsibility for managing the Company’s legal and compliance framework for its EMEA activities.
Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Officer:
- The interpretation and analysis of existing and prospective legislation (MiFID II/ MIFIR, CRD IV/CRR, data protection rules etc.).
- The development of relevant compliance policies and procedures to ensure a harmonised and consistent approach is taken across the firm.
- Assisting in the review and response to regulatory queries and investigations from the Central Bank of Ireland, Financial Conduct Authority and other regulatory bodies.
- Assisting in the execution of the Company’s compliance monitoring and testing plan (MiFID, market abuse, financial crime, data protection etc.).
- Review and draft commercial agreements and service provider agreements predominantly relating to EU capital markets infrastructure, services and, technology providers.
The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with relevant Company stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and practical implementation of new regulations and laws, including Operations, Risk, Technology and front office, but also with relevant colleagues globally.
