Senior Financial Accountant – Asset Management

Location: Dublin City Centre

The Role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be accountable for the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of management reporting and local compliant regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring of all Income Streams.
• Review of Production of Monthly Rebate calculation.
• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
• Group Reporting – Preparation of Intercompany Balances & Reporting Pack.
• Review of Processing of weekly payment runs.
• Review of Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register and depreciation.
• Maintenance of Rebate Asset Register, amortisation and impact of redemptions.
• Revenue Commissioners – Completion/Submission of VAT3, DWT & P30.
• Central Bank - Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Regulatory Returns.
• Review of Central Statistics Office Returns
• Audit – Satisfying all audit requests for Year-End and Semi-Annual Review.
• Management Reporting – P&L Comparatives/Budget Analysis/Preparation of BOD Analysis File.
• Staff supervision – Manage and assist with the coaching & development of team members.
• Payroll: Liaise with the relevant payroll bureau in order to facilitate the accurate and timely production of the monthly payroll, whilst maintaining the strictest of confidentiality.
• Preparation of Monthly Pension & VHI Reconciliations.
• Fund Audits Process – Assist with the co-ordination of the audit and preparation (by the Administrator) of the Annual and Semi-Annual Financial Statements of the relevant Funds. Oversight Funds’ financial reporting process.
• Drafting of the Annual and Semi-Annual Financial Statements of the Company.
• Assisting the Financial Controller with Ad-Hoc requests.

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (max 5 years’ experience)
• Asset Management/Funds experience preferred
